Hydroponics is the cultivation of plants in water by adding the necessary nutrients to the water. Furthermore, no medium is involved and towing with bags of soil is no longer necessary. Holes have been milled in the lid of the drip tray in which the plants are placed in baskets (net cups). This drip tray is on an aluminum table with a water container underneath. Water and food are pumped into the drip tray from this barrel 24 hours a day. When there is a layer of 4 cm of water in the drip tray, the excess water runs back through an overflow to the water container under the table. With this cultivation method, the roots of the plants hang in a continuous circulating stream of oxygen-rich water with nutrients. These systems are extremely economical with water and very user-friendly. You just have to keep the water level in the water tank up to standard and add the appropriate amount of food. The use of a PH / EC combimeter is recommended so that you can determine the exact amount of food and acidity. If you want to clean the water tank between two harvests, you can easily disconnect it from the drip tray and take it out of the cupboard. Supplementing with water and food is sufficient during breeding. The water tank can easily be filled with a watering can via the lower sliding doors. One of the big advantages of these systems is that you can feed your plants very accurately and thus have more control over their growth and flowering. A shorter growing cycle with higher yields is the result of constant nutrient uptake by the roots directly from the water. The causes of plant diseases such as fungi and bacteria often breed in potting soil. Because there is no soil involved in this system, your plants will also be less susceptible to diseases and pests. The Flow Hydroponics cultivation system is a closed and safe system without the risk of leaks. There is never more water in the drip tray than the contents of the water container. So when the pump stops for some reason, the backflowing water can never overflow the water tank. Because it is a closed system, there is no light on the water and you do not have to be afraid of algae growth in the water. - Hydroponic system for 28 plants. - Water tank capacity: 90 liters. - Dimensions (l x w x h) 165 x 82 x 51 cm - Including pump, netcups and aluminum growing table. - Excl. nutrition.
