Grodan Plug Block ~ Starting blocks
The Grodan Plug Block offers you a stone wool starting block with a high water holding capacity and plenty of air. The pH value of rock wool is quite high, around a pH of 8. It is therefore important to water the rock wool with a low PH (5.1-5.5), especially since the rock wool always tends to increase the PH value in the mat. You can never have a pH value below 5, as this will cause the blocks to lose their resilience and collapse.
