The Secret Jardin Dark Propagator grow tents or DP series are specially designed for your cuttings, seedlings or mother plants. These tents offer a surface area of 0.24m2 to a maximum of 3.6m2. You can also use these tents to grow or flower your crop. In these grow tents there are levels with racks incorporated to provide space for your cutting trays, how many cuttings or seedlings you can accommodate depends on the type of cutting plug or cutting tray you use.
Quality and accessories
The Dark Propagator line from Secret Jardin is made with the same canvas as the other grow tents from Secret Jardin, namely Mylar 210D. The canvas is covered on the inside with a highly reflective foil that reflects up to 95% of the artificial light. The poles that provide the strength of the tent are made of Q195 steel with a diameter of 16 millimeters. The DP series comes with a number of accessories, with the CableIT you can neatly attach your cables to the poles. A water tray to prevent flooding, this water tray is made of pool liner that lasts up to 5 years. Also included are pass-throughs to neatly incorporate your cables and ventilation ducts into your tent. The DF16 is meant for ventilation possibilities, think of an exhaust or light baffle. The CF7D is a cable grommet to neatly route the cables of peripheral equipment into your tent.
How to make cuttings?
There are several ways to make cuttings, the method you use depends entirely on the type of crop you want to propagate. You can propagate your plant by taking cuttings with young shoots, these shoots should not be hardened yet. You can also make cuttings with the rhizomes, not every plant forms these rhizomes.
