The Power of PH in Plant and Soil Nutrition
With the Hy-Pro PH-, you have a PH regulator designed specifically for the growth phase. This PH regulator is made from Nitric Acid and helps the mobility of nutrients. The acidity of your substrate and water mix is very important for your crop, this is because a correct PH value ensures a better absorption of nutrients and trace elements. If these values vary continuously, the uptake of nutrients will also vary resulting in irregular growth of your crop. For most plants, the optimum PH value varies from plant to plant, but a value between 5.2 and 6.2 works for most crops.
Using PH-
- Prepare your nutrient solution and test the EC.
- Measure the pH of the nutrient solution with a PH meter.
- If it is too high, add a few drops of Hy-Pro PH- and mix well.
- Let it stand for a while and then measure the pH again.
- Repeat the process until the pH is at the correct level.
- 5.2 - 6.2 is the optimal pH range for most plants.
- Always read the directions on the label before use.
- Store Hy-pro Ph- in a ventilated area.
