Ralight LED - Grow Light
Ralight LED - Grow Light
There are various variants of the Ralight LED - Grow Light which differ in their power outputs and thus make it possible to choose the lighting system depending on the size of the cultivation space and the chosen lighting setup.
The variants of the Ralight LED - Grow Light include models that have a power output of 150W, 250W, 360W, 720W and 1000W. There is a variant with a power output of 120W called Under Canopy and it is used in applications where additional lighting is placed under the light source. Thus, the variants of the Ralight allow using the fixture in both small and large indoor cultivation spaces.
Various sizes and configurations
In addition to the differences in power output, there are various sizes and configurations of the Ralight LED fixtures. It depends on the chosen variant and thus the dimensions play an important role when choosing the right fixture for the given situation.
The Ralight LED fixtures with power outputs of 150W and 250W are used for compact installations and the 360W fixtures come in different configurations depending on the cultivating area. The models with higher power outputs like 720W and 1000W are designed for larger installations where there is a need for higher lighting capacity.
The Under Canopy 120W configuration has a different function in the Ralight LED fixture series. Unlike other variants, this configuration can be installed underneath the plant canopy to give the additional illumination in the shadowed areas of the cultivating space.
Led technology for indoor cultivation
LED technology is popular in indoor cultivation as LED fixtures are able to provide high light output and at the same time maintain the relatively efficient energy consumption in comparison with many conventional lighting systems. The Ralight LED fixtures are designed specifically for controlled indoor environment where artificial lighting is an essential part of the installation.
The choice of the power output should be made on the basis of the available cultivation area, the mounting height, light intensity and specifications of the chosen variant. Thus, the wattage cannot describe completely the characteristics of the lighting performance and therefore the specifications of the Ralight LED fixtures should be taken into account.
Choosing the right variant
Choosing the variant of the Ralight LED - Grow Light should start with the size of the cultivating area. Small cultivating areas should use low-power variants and large areas will need higher power output variants. The available variants with the power outputs of 360W, 720W and 1000W will suit larger installations well.
The size of the fixture should be also taken into account during the installation process. Proper matching of the dimensions of the lamp and the cultivation area will help create a rational layout of the light installation. The additional lighting under the plant canopy can be provided by the 120W Under Canopy configuration.
