Speedgrow are natural products made from the volcanic igneous rock (solidification of lava) Basalt. The fibers are made by heating this rock, a specialty of the manufacturer! With the so-called Ecose Technology, formaldehyde-free binder is used. This sustainable technique is particularly environmentally friendly.
