The Airfan Birch Soft Box - Ventilator Box can be used in circular duct ventilation systems where the problem is one of quiet continuous airflow. The sound-insulated fan box incorporates a high-capacity centrifugal (slakkenhuis) fan, mounted on heavy-duty rubber suspension to avoid the transmission of vibrations. The outcome is quieter operation that is ideal for applications where noise is a factor.
Natural materials, additional insulation
Constructed from sturdy birch wood, Airfan Birch Soft Box houses a body which is acoustically damped through an egg-crate foam liner. Foam dampens sound very effectively, once more contributing to the low-noise aspect of the unit. It is compact in size and is consequently simple to install, even in minuscule rooms, and is designed to endure heavy-duty usage within harsh environments.
Suitable for round-the-clock operation
The ventilator box is provided for continuous operation without loss of performance, within air temperatures -30°C to +70°C. The design is effective with good controllability and pressure stability. Versatile and adaptable solutions Due to the wide range of airflow capacities—250 m³/h to 7,000 m³/h—Airfan Birch Soft Box models can be incorporated simply into small or large ventilation systems. Special designs on request are possible with a high degree of adaptability for single-purpose use.
