G-Bars 170 Watt with Dimmer from G-tools
With the G-tools G-Bars 170 Watt with Dimmer you have the perfect LED grow light for use in a small cabinet or grow tent. This LED grow light consists of 4 LED bars and can light up an area of 60 x 60 cm. The LED bars are already pre-assembled and are relatively far apart from each other, this and the large angle at which the light is emitted make it possible to hang the LED bars very close to your crop. This way you have no 'transport loss' and you get the optimal yield from the lamp.
Dimming function of the G-Bars
In the initial phase of the growing cycle plants need less light than at the end of the cycle. As the plants grow you can give them more light by turning up the dimmer. With the dimmer function you can therefore give your plants the right amount of light for each phase of their lives. Not only will you create a more pleasant climate for your plants but you will also save on your electricity costs.
The G-bars 170 watt LED bar grow light is equipped with a 4 position dimmer. You can set the lamp to 40,60,80 or 100% of the total power. The dimming function also makes it possible to grow plants with different light requirements. Flowering, fruit-bearing plants often need much more light than non-flowering plants such as leafy greens and herbs. The full spectrum of the G-bars makes the lamp suitable for both growing and flowering plants.
Full Spectrum LEDS
The G-tools G-bars are made up of Osram Full Spectrum LEDS and a few red ones for stimulating flowering. Traditional LED lights focus on red and blue light. This is because these two colors are primarily responsible for plant growth and flowering. But plants seem to have evolved in such a way that the other colors from the full spectrum also contribute. Especially to the quality of the final product. In recent years it has been realized that a plant does better when it is offered a fuller pallet of the color spectrum.
The Osram LEDS used in the G-bars have a so-called Colour Rendering Index of 85.5. This is an index for the approximation to sunlight with 100 being the highest score. So a CRI of 100 is sunlight. Your crop will therefore have a natural green color under the G-bars and not the dark purple tint you often see under traditional LEDS. Useful for scanning the health of your plants and checking for any pests.
