Pokon
Pokon: more than plant food - an innovative brand in agriculture and horticulture
With this versatility and commitment to quality and sustainability, Pokon is more than just a choice; it is a responsible choice for every gardener.
Pokon is a pioneer in agriculture and horticulture with a history dating back to 1929.
The origins of Pokon
Pokon was born from the scientific expertise of Herman Pieter Bendien and ir. Bloemsma. The name itself is an abbreviation of the chemical elements phosphorus (P2O5), potassium (K2O) and nitrogen (N2), which are crucial for plant growth. It perfectly illustrates the brand's initial focus on science-based plant care.
Innovation and evolution
Over the years, Pokon has adapted its initial formula to meet the changing needs of agriculture and horticulture. The product line has expanded to include various fertilizers, potting soils and even grass seeds, all with the same goal: optimal plant growth and care.
Sustainability as a core value
In line with global sustainability trends, Pokon has focused on developing environmentally friendly products. One example is the Bio Plant Food, which is composed entirely of natural ingredients and is biodegradable.
Extensive product range
The assortment goes beyond just nutrition. For example, Pokon also offers special potting soils, such as Bio Kitchen Garden Soil, which is specially designed to meet the unique needs of vegetable and fruit plants.
Research and development
In cooperation with academic institutions and research centers, Pokon continues to innovate. This commitment to research and development enables the brand to continually bring new, effective and sustainable products to market.
