The features common to all filters include an outer and inner diameter of 400/265 mm, a length of 150 cm, and a flange size of 250 mm, all of which work together to provide uniform airflow and low pressure loss.The filters are all of a standard size, regardless of capacity, which ranges from 1250 m3 to 2500 m3.

Structures and materials

The material used for the housing is SND DX51D+Z140 steel with a thickness of 0.7 mm, which is a perforated plate type. This gives it an extra level of rigidity to the structure, which helps to prevent the carbon frame from deforming under high airflow conditions.COL-A50 activated carbon is used for the filter medium, which is used for long-term odor absorption in difficult environments.Heavy filters are best suited for intensive and continuous use with the combination of the material type, material thickness, and quality of the carbon used.

Maintenance and lifespan

The service life of Jim Filters Heavy is dependent on various conditions such as humidity, amount of fragrance, dust, and number of operating hours, amongst others. Under normal conditions, it is expected that the carbon filter will remain serviceable within a period of 6 to 12 months. However, an increase in pressure, reduction of odor, and an increase in fan usage can be a result of saturation of the filter’s medium.
