pH meters usually begin to perform poorly because of problems with the probe. The two parts of the pH probe that cause problems are the glass sensor bulb and the reference junction.
TOP 4 TIPS FROM MILWAUKEE
- Always store the probe upright with the cap full of buffer or storage solution, not water.
- Clean your tester regularly by immersion in cleaning solution.
- After cleaning and/or storing, calibrate before testing to correct for changes in the pH sensor.
- Gently stir the probe into the sample for faster results.
GroLab
The BNC connector allows you to easily connect all the probes to a GroLab TankBot.
All probes with a BNC connector are ideally suited for GroLab systems but the Milwaukee pH probes MA911 & MA905 have been selected as official peripherals by GroLab for their automatic grow controllers and are therefore also fully compatible and ideally suited for a GroLab automatic grow system.
