The only thing that is very important though is the efficiency in µmol/J, this value indicates the amount of light released per watt. The higher the value the better the artificial light is.
Besides being energy efficient these grow lights have an additional advantage, an LED grow light emits much less heat than an HPS light. Because it gets much less hot in your grow room, you can turn down your extraction system or even take a smaller version that uses less energy.
